It should be an exciting moment for not only Alain but for viewers as well, who are sure to be in for an emotional treat, especially if the soul singer delivers a live performance of “Father and Friend” for O’Grady.
Already having won a reputation for being the sort of talent who could easily take on a roomful of X Factor finalists, Alain is set to prove to British viewers just how contemporary and relevant his music is to the pop scene. Even if Alain is allowed only a few minutes of airtime on the show, it’s unlikely that he’ll disappoint – so strong is the sentiment and drive that his music brings out in him onstage, which is incredibly prevalent when he’s beside his father for a rendition of the first single from his upcoming album, "Live It Out".
In any case, Britain is about to taste all of the hype that’s been built up around Alain Clark, and it’s likely that he’ll prove worthy of all the positive buzz that’s been heaped on him in recent months. The soul singer appeared just the other day on Radio 2 for the Dermot O’Leary show, and he’s already won over a London crowd at the Pigalle Club. Even if the singer-songwriter has a long road ahead of him in terms of promoting his album, it shouldn’t prove too difficult to catch people’s attention once Alain’s album is finally out there – his music is just too irresistibly catchy.
