Cheryl Cole bitten by fan

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole was surprised to be bitten by a potentially crazy female fan this weekend, reports The Sun.  The singer was posing for photos with fans just outside of her hotel when she was attacked by the fan, who lunged straight at her.  According to witnesses, the 25-year-old celebrity looked “petrified” just before a security guard swooped in to save her by whisking her inside of the hotel. 

 

Prince Plays Three Shows in One Night

Funk singer Prince has performed three different full length shows in one night to promote his upcoming album. The gigs took place in Los Angeles at the 7,100-capacity Nokia Theater, 1,100-capacity Conga Room and the 2,300-capacity Club Nokia.

The Pet Shop Boys return to pop music with the release of their tenth studio album, “Yes”. The Pet Shop Boys always make the UK charts a far more interesting place with their ability to create seeming innocent pop songs while hinting at darker topics.

The new Pet Shop Boys album, “Yes” is a return to their pop roots after the more experimental offerings from the band when they composed a sound track to the avant-garde film by Sergei Eisenstein, Battleship Potemkin.

The new album features Johnny Marr from The Smiths on guitar and has some superb pop moments on the record.  Neil Tennant is back to form with confessional lyrics and haunting vocals.  He has previously written songs for Girls Aloud, including, The Loving Kind.
