The new and eagerly anticipated comeback record from Eminem is only a few weeks away (accordingly to his label mate 50 'fiddy' Cent), but his new single 'Crack a Bottle' was released this week, smashing some records en route

After some huge iTunes promotion in the States, as well as being #1 in the iTunes chart all week, the track in question has shifted 420,000 downloads in only 7 days! The track, which also features his homies Dr. Dre & 50 Cent, beat the previous record by almost 100,000 downloads. The previous record was held by TI, with his track 'Live Your Life' ft. Rihanna, and sold 335,000 downloads in the 7 day period.

Heres some stats for you all, the top two all time most downloaded tracks in the US are:

Lady GaGa's 'Just Dance' (419,000) and Flo Rida's 'Low' (467,000).

I'm pretty sure Eminem will surpass these figures pretty quickly, so expect to be in for an Eminem summer this year all over the UK. BLAP!
