Noel Gallagher Confirms Future as Solo Artist

The Daily Mirror was surprised to see Noel Gallagher attending the reopening of celebrity hotspot Chinawhite last Tuesday night, but it wasn’t especially shocking that the ex-Oasis member wasn’t too broken up about departing from the band.

“I’m having a good time,” he told the Mirror, “and the support from my fans has been great. I’m looking forward to doing my own thing, bringing out my own music. I’m glad that’s what people want to hear. I am not thinking about much else - Oasis or Liam - I’m just having a good time.” It's a far cry from the days when Noel was touring with other unsigned bands in Oasis

The gossip publication confirms that Gallaher was indeed having a good time that night, with a certain Sara McDonald sitting on his lap. (“We’re going to have a slumber party tonight,” Gallagher said of McDonald.)

Also attending the event that evening were Princess Beatrice, Natalie Imbruglia, Chelsea Davy and Strictly Come Dancing star Jo Wood and her daughter Leah.

Liam was reportedly out with his wife, Nicole, sister-in-law Natalie and her husband, Liam Howlett of Prodigy. The two men were spotted resting on a North London park bench after an exhausting jog.

According to NME, it has been previously rumored that Liam would continue making music under the Oasis moniker – a rumor that was quashed by Liam, who also confirmed that he planned to continue making music.
