Robert Plant takes home Five Prizes at the Grammys

Robert Plant, the Led Zeppelin frontman, won five prizes at the Grammys for his work with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss. He led the pack of British winners which include Coldplay, Adele, Duffy, Radiohead and Peter Gabriel.

Plant and Krauss won awards for album of the year with Raising Sand and record of the year Please Read The Letter. They also won best contemporary folk/Americana album, best country collboration, and best pop collaboration.

Plant told the Audience: "I'd like to say I'm bewildered, in the old days we would have called this selling out. But it's a good way to spend a Sunday."
