After only six months with hairdresser boyfriend Craig Monk, former X Factor star Cher Lloyd is ready to walk down the aisle.

The ''Swagger Jagger'' star denied rumors that she'd become engaged last month, but The Sun reports that the singer has been telling friends about her plans to wed.

An insider told the paper: “Cher’s been telling anyone who will listen that she’s engaged to Craig, despite originally denying the news. She’s head over heels and has been sporting an engagement ring since last month.”

Though she has denied reports of an engagement, Cher hasn’t been shy about how much she digs her 21-year-old man.

“My boyfriend keeps me sane,” the singer told the Daily Mail. “He tells me to keep a grip, he’ll say, ‘You’ve got the best thing ever, realize you are the luckiest person ever.’ He whips me back into shape a little bit.”

The pair, who live together, met at Four Salon in Mayfair - where Craig works - and have been dating since April.

According to Cher, the two spend time bonding every night: “I am a proper geek, I find the most stupid things funny. Me and my boyfriend play the most stupid game that we made up. You know washing tablets you put in your washing machine, we’ve made up this game called Catch the Tablet, and every night we play it.

“I stand on one side of the room and he stands on the other, and then we’ll throw it to see if we can catch it, we’ll throw it high, low, wherever and at the end of the game we’ll see who can throw the tablet into the washing machine. That’s my life! We’re such geeks. He always wins, never me. I got it in there once and I nearly cried.”
