JLS maybe superstars in the UK but have yet to break it in the US. The lads tried to get courtside seats to watch the LA Lakers recently – the kind of seats usually reserved for celeb royalty. However they were shunned and didn't get the seats. But seeing as the Lakers are the sports team of choice for any self-respecting superstar, we thought we'd give youa quick run down of ten of their most famous fans...

10 Jack Nicholson

Jack Nicholson has held tickets since the 70s. Rumour has it that movie directors need to work their shooting schedules around Lakers home games.

9. Flea and Kiedis

Flea and Kiedis - the two founding members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers wrote not one but two songs about the Lakers on their 1989 album Mother's Milk: a demo called "Salute To Kareem" and the "Magic Johnson" which features these lyrics: “Lakers are the team that I watch on the telly, cause they got more moves than a bowl full of jelly.”

8 Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne – the rapper, who is currently watching Lakers games from his prison cell, wrote a song entitled “Kobe Bryant” after the famous Lakers player.

7 Ice Cube

Ice Cube - a South Central L.A. native and Lakers box holder who claims to be more than a lifelong fan. “I was a Lakers fan in the womb,” he once said.

6. Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio - a hoops junkie who has been a fixture at STAPLES Center since the late '90s. "He sits right behind my wife and they get a little rowdy," said Lakers All-Star Kobe Bryant: "He really gets into the game. They're pretty passionate fans, so that's always good."

5 Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington – a big Lakers fan, sharring a big on-going rivalry with his four-time director Spike Lee who is a NY Knicks man.

4 Doris Day

Doris Day – the biggest female box office star of the 50s used to sit with Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, Dean Martin and Andy Williams at games at the old L.A. Sports Arena

3 Andy Garcia

Andy Garcia – originally from Florida, he was a TV fan as a kid but got season tickets when he moved to Tinsel Town in the 80s and now watches his beloved team from his seats in the fourth row opposite of the Lakers bench.
