Joey Ramone & Linda Ramone & Johnny Ramone

Johnny stole, and later married, Joey’s girlfriend Linda. During a fight, Johnny beat Joey so badly, he had to receive surgery for a blood clot in his head. Though they continued to work together for decades as the only remaining original members of the Ramones, they rarely spoke. When Joey passed away in 2001, the two hadn’t spoken in years.

Ava Gardner & Frank Sinatra &. Mrs. Nancy Sinatra

Even with his career in the dumps, Sinatra still did the dirty on his long-suffering wife and mother of his children, Nancy. When news of his affair with Gardner got out in 1950 the two split and Sinatra married Gardner a year later but it fizzled out quickly and they were soon divorced.

Brian Jones & Anita Pallenberg & Keith Richards

It all went wrong for Brian Jones. He lost his hot Swedish model girlfriend Pallenberg to bandmate Keith Richards, and soon after he was sacked from the Stones. Richards and Pallenberg had three children together before splitting up, but Pallenberg managed to squeeze in an affair with Mick Jagger first.

Lindsay Lohan & Aaron Carter & Hilary Duff

Apparently there was some overlap during the time Carter dated Lohan and Duff. Instead of hating the player, or even the game, the teen queens chose to hate each other, resulting in a cat fight backstage at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards and both including nasty songs about each other on their respective records.

Heather Locklear & Richie Sambora & Denise Richards (& Charlie Sheen & David Spade)

More of a love pentangle, this one. So the story goes, when Denise’s four-year marriage to Charlie fell apart, she was comforted by neighbour and best friend Heather Locklear, whose own 11-year-marriage to Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was soon on the rocks. Denise is said to have urged Heather to dump Ritchie is then pictured up close and personal with Richie so Heather runs to the comforting arms of David Spade, only to break up soon after.

Madonna & Alex Rodriguez & Jesus Luz

According to reports, Madonna was recently caught up in a love triangle with boyfriend Jesus Luz and her ex Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez. Sources say despite claims the singer had split from 22-year-old Luz, the pair is still going strong. “Jesus is really, really into Madonna but he’s more like a little personal project to her,” a source said. “They are together when she wants them to be together. Jesus has no idea A-Rod is still seeing her. Even when A-Rod was with Kate Hudson, he kept in close contact with Madge. Madonna spent two nights with him in his beach house in Miami...Jesus had no idea. She just didn’t tell him and her staff were told not to tell him.”

George loved his wife Patti and wrote the song Something about her while still a Beatle. His best mate Eric Clapton also secretly fancied her, so much so he wrote Layla about his desperate feelings for his friend's Mrs. He eventually got what he wanted by stealing her away from George and then wrote Wonderful Tonight about her. Nasty business but three great songs nonetheless.

Joe Jonas & Taylor Swift & John Mayer & Cory Monteith

Swift was linked with Joe Jonas after appearing in a Jonas Brothers video. But apparently she's also fond of rocker John Mayer and Glee star Cory Monteith. “Taylor really likes John,” a source close to the Love Story singer said recently. “They’ve been hanging out a lot. John has been sending her flowers, jewellery, and other gifts.” The source adds that Taylor also “likes Cory and they’ve got out to dinner a few times but it hasn’t gone as far as things with John.” Keep your options open girl...!

Dita Von Teese & Marilyn Manson & Evan Rachel Wood

Together for seven years, goth rocker Marilyn Manson and burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese made their union official when they wed in 2005 but less than a year later she filed for divorce after her husband fell for then-19-year-old Evan Rachel Wood, star of the shock rocker's horror film, Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll.
