This fight began when Robbie left Take That at the height of their fame. The rivalry evolved rapidly and involved several dirty tricks. Gary said “He said: "Oh yeah. Me and Robbie used to play terrible tricks on each other. I took Robbie's album back to a music shop once and...Stupid, stupid things! Things you wouldn't dream of doing as a 37-year-old bloke. These fighters used to share a label in the 50s and Joe Tex purportedly penned one of Brown’s first hits. Things got sour when Tex accused Brown of stealing his stage moves. They still shared billing occasionally but things blew up again at a one event when Tex parodied Brown’s stage show by putting a blanket around his shoulders shouting “Please, please, please – get me out of this cape!” Brown’s distinctly rational reaction was to open fire on Tex with his handgun. Apparently, patrons hit by stray bullets at the club were given $100 bills by Brown to keep quiet…

2. Oasis vs Blur

This was one of the most public fights in modern music history as the bands went up against each other in the charts during the heyday of Britpop when the world spotlight was on British music.
