
With the Sunday Times Rich list the talk of most towns following its publication at the weekend we've pulled out some of the musical entries, starting today with the ten wealthiest musicians in Britain under the age of 30...
Charlotte Church:

The 24 year old Welsh classical singer turned pop star has shifted millions of albums and enjys a successful TV career to boot. She is estimated to be worth around £11m.
Katherine Jenkins:

The 29 year old opera star, also from Wales, is said to have a personal fortune of £11m, thanks in the main to her £5.8m five-album record deal with Warner music.
Leona Lewis

The X-Factor winner has gone up from last year's estimated £8m fortune to £11m, based on the current rate of her record sales along with book royalties and clothing and perfume deals.
Cheryl Cole

At £10m, the Girls Aloud singer and X-Factor judge is said to be worth twice that of her fellow bandmates thanks to endorsement deals with Coke and L'Oreal and a big selling solo album.
Katie Melua:

The easy-listening songstress has quietly amassed an estimated £10m thanks to heavy rotation on radio and international record sales. Her new album, The House, is out next month.
Joss Stone

Hard to believe the Devon-born soul singer is still just 23 but such has been her trans-Atlantic success to date that she is said to be worth £9m – and that takes into account the fact that her last album did just 10,000 copies in the UK.

Another one who is still happily living off a big pile of wedge from a once-successful career that has sinced tailed off. The 28 year old is worth £8m but his new album Signed Sealed Delivered is now out.
