Apparently the singer and X Factor judge has ranked quite high on the magazine’s Hot 101 list – coming in at number eight, and 44 places before her closest bandmate, Nadine Coyle.  Just behind Nadine was Kimberly Walsh in 55th place.  Sarah Harding was a distant 91st, and Nicola Roberts was left off the list completely.

Thousands of readers voted for their most-desired celebrities through Zoo’s website. The list of selections included worldwide pop stars, actresses, television personalities, sportswomen, models and glamour models.

Frankie Sandford from that other girl group, the Saturdays, made the list at number 23, beating out 19-year-old actress Emma Watson, whose hotness level factored in at number 29. 

Though Katie Price can usually be found at the top of the Hot 101, this year found the mother of three in at number 77, behind Big Brother contestant Sophie Reade.

The Deputy Editor of the magazine, Damien McSorley, said of the list: “Whilst there were quite a few surprises with Stoke glamour girl Alice Goodwin bagging the top spot. It’s unsurprising that Cheryl Cole remains the number one pop pin-up of choice. A great result for the Geordie lass, who seems to have the golden touch when it comes to everything she does.”
