Overnight sensation Susan Boyle has squashed rumours that she will be leaving Britain's got talent. The 48-year-old shot to fame on the reality television show Britain's Got Talent with her performance of Les Miserables song "I Dreamed a Dream". The singer defied expectations with a jaw-dropping rendition.

With over 100 million YouTube views and appearances on shows ranging from CNN to Southpark, Susan has had to deal with major changes to her private life. There are rumours that the reality star singer was on the verge of a breakdown. Susan Boyle told the Sun Newspaper that she was "not on the verge of a breakdown. I've never felt more positive". Susan Boyle's brother had spoken out on her behalf saying she was unhappy with the show and wanted to launch her solo career immediately.

Susan Boyle added: "There is no way I am quitting, The only way I'd leave the show is if Simon Cowell kicked me out. All I can promise is to do my best and confirm to everyone that I'm not leaving the show"
