Pet Shop Boys smash hit single Always on My Mind is now available to listen to online.  The Pet Shop Boys  cover version of the Elvis Presley classic was filmed as part of an ITV network special to commerate the life and work of Elvis.

The Pet Shop Boys version of the Always on My Mind was so successful that fans requested that the band release their cover as a single. The cover version ended up taking the top spot in the UK charts in 1987 and was number 1 for four weeks.

The Daily Telegraph named the cover the 2nd best cover version ever produced in their list of the fifty greatest cover versions of all time. The Pet Shop Boys version of Always on My Mind also reached number 1 in Germany and peaked at number 4 in the USA
