Pet Shop Boys Push Envelope with ‘Love Etc.’ Video

As we already are aware, Pet Shop Boys’ upcoming album is due for release soon, and it’s predicted to do incredibly well in the sales charts. The first single from the album, ‘Love Etc.’ has just been released, and the latest release from the band is the video for that track.

The song was released March 16, and the video has just begun to make itself known on YouTube, where it already has almost 500,000 views (though this number may have substantially increased by the time these words are read). The video was premiered through the music aggregator, Elbo.ws, and following the debut it was quick to be uploaded to several reputable music blogs.

The upcoming record, ‘Yes’, is available for pre-order through Parlophone. ‘Yes’ is the duo’s tenth studio album release, and the British band’s name is now legendary among others in the synth pop genre; Pet Shop Boys recently picked up the Outstanding Contribution to British Music Award, which serves as even more everlasting proof of the band’s imprint and influences over the UK music charts. Pet Shop Boys convened with Xenomania in order to produce an incredible array of songs that will not only boost their ratings and be popular with current frequenters of the pop music scene, but will also be appreciated by fans of the band who have loved the duo since the eighties.

The for ‘Love Etc.’ showcases the free flowing electro pop track through a seamless kaleidoscope of animation that doubles the intensity of both the song’s beats and lyrics. With the video, the song’s social commentary is paired with bold colors and bouncing animatronics that work together exceptionally well, with the result being clear that the Pet Shop Boys won’t be leaving the pop music scene anytime in the near future.
