By now it is clear that The Days’ next single is to be ‘Never Give Up’, a song that the boys have long been incorporating into the live shows of their headlining tour, though the band has only just laid down the track in the studio.

Fans can hear an exclusive clip of the song on The Days’ official website, where it is currently streaming. Members of the website have the opportunity to provide feedback on the song (as well as to receive updates on the band in their email inboxes, and the capability to view exclusive videos on the site not available to non-members).

The band is respectfully requesting that fans of their new single text their favorite (or just local) radio station in order to request the song – an action that would just take a moment, but mean a lot to the up-and-coming band. Any band on the verge of releasing a full length album loves to hear their own track on the radio (hint: the text number for Radio 1 is 81199). ‘Never Give Up’ loads on the main page of the official site; the song is a cheerful romp with a “hang on it’ll be okay” theme. The track’s jangly garage pop rock feel is consistent with the sound we have come to love from the band, like the upbeat rock jam that was their first single, ‘No Ties’.

Already there are plenty of member fan postings commenting on the quality of the new single. Many fans recognize the song from a live show, and are giving the studio version plenty of appreciation.

A teaser for the track’s music video is also going to appear on the band’s official site, an appearance that is scheduled for posting for today!
