The Days Forced To Cancel A Show Because Of Illness

Due to a horrible bout of the flu, which struck guitarist Tim Ayer’s, The Days were forced to postpone one of their shows this past week. This isn’t the greatest way for an up-and-coming band to ring in a promising New Year, but then again I suppose there isn’t much you can do about these sorts of unfortunate mishaps.

The show was to be at The Borderline in London on Thursday the 15th, but due to lack of another option was cancelled. Tim, the victim of the unrelenting illness was apparently bedridden since the weekend before the show, and made little recovery throughout the week.

All the tickets are refundable or can be used at their gig on the 28th, which is being held at the Barfly. Tickets for therest of their tour can be found on their myspace page, which is also accessible through their facebook fan page, and website www.thedaysmusic.com

Via their KYTE player fans can check out The Days’ latest video. This one is a short peek at the bands studio recording process as they gear up to release their first album. Between gigging and recording the boys are going to mighty busy over the next few months, and it’s nice to see they still take time to give a little shout-out to their fans.
The end of the 3 minute video features a hilarious impromptu piano song about meeting the band and talking about your Christmas.

Though they must be insanely busy, at least can still take a break and fool around a little bit. The video was shot earlier this month at the “State of the Ark” Studio.
Hopefully Tim will be up and ready to rock for the Barfly show at the end of the month, and lets hope nothing else plagues this band so they may see smooth sailing for the rest of the spring!
